Colour code paragraph

The nun's priest

If a story is a fable then it need to have talking animals that act like humans, and a moral at the end. The Nuns Priest's tale is a fable in every way. It is a fable because a feature of a fable is that it has animals that talk and has a moral at the end. These examples tell me why it is a fable 'I knew your father well, you know.' This is sir Russell fox talking to Chaunticleer and he is an animal. The moral of this story is that you 'should always be on your guard against flatterers and who opens their mouth when they should keep then shut will get caught'.This is the moral since it teaches us something. Chaunticleer learns this. This is the part in the story which has a moral and talking animals.Sir Russell fox says: I knew your father very well..... but I think your voice might be better then his, then Chuanticleer says: just listen to this, and then Sir Russell fox catches him. This part has all the features of a fable. So in the end the Nun's priest is a fable since it has a moral at the end that you should always be on guard against flatters and has loads of talking animals Chaunticleer, Sir Russell fox etc. that act like people.

The Knights tale
If a story is a chivalric romance then it needs to have chivalric knights and courtly love. The Knights tale has all of the features. The Knights tale is a chivalric romance becuase it has chivalric Knights and there is a joust at the end. These are some examples that prove this: The Chivalric Knights are Palamon and Arcite they are chivalric Knights since they fight for the love of Emily. An example that proves that are Chivalric Knights when one of them escaped they did not tell on the other this is Chivalric. There is joust at the and the winner gets Emily. Palamon wins since he wanted Emily but Arcite wanted to win. Another feature of a Chivalric romance is that there is romance, there is romance between Palamon and Emily and Arcite and Emily. So to sum this up the Knights tale is a Chivalric romance since it has Chivalric Knights Palamon and Arcite and has romance between the Knights and Emily.

The wife of bath
If a story is a folktale then it needs to sound realistic has peasants and explains something. The wife of bath has all of these features. The wife of bath is a folktale since it has peasants, it sounds realistic and also explains something. These are the examples that prove it:The peasant is Emily since she is just a normal girl in the forest. Also the wife of bath sounds realistic, The wife of bath is set in a castle and a forest which is a realistic place and it has people Sir the Codsbrain, Amanda etc. not monster in fantasy stories. The last feature of a folktale is that it explains something. The wife of bath explains something which is: that the thing that woman most desire is power and that it is better to love someone properly than loving someone beautiful. Sir Codsbrain learns this the hard way. So this is why the wife of bath is a folktale since it has peasants (Amanda), it sounds realistic since it has people (Amanda) and teaches us something which is do not go flirting with Radom girls.

The pardoner's tale

A morality tale is a story that teaches you something through the story and has a moral at the end. The pardoner's tale has this feature. The pardoner's tale teaches us something and has a moral at the end. These are the examples: 'if you go looking for death, don't be surprised if you find him'. This is the moral of the story and Dick,Tom and Harry learn this. They went looking for death this happens since Ambrosius dies becuase he was so drunk then when they golooking for death a old man tells them where to go (which is a next wo a tree)and then they die since they were so greedy for the gold. So this is why the pardoner's tale is a folktale because it has a moral at the end which teaches us to not go looking for death or you will die.
