The lliad is a epic Poem. It is an epic poem because of lots of features. In this paragraph you will seek the answers. The lliad comes from Greece during the last 10th year of the siege of Troy. The lliad tells us about the war at that time. The lliad was probably written in 750.B.C but we can not be certain what date.

The lliad is an epic because of these reasons. The first is that it has a lot of conflicts. The main one being the battle. Also the protagonist/hero needs to have powers and the hero (Archellies) does. He is strong and has stamina and the main one is that he is invunrable except his ankles which makes him really strong. Another thing is that the hero goes on a journey which is to defeat the Trojans. The court thing is that there are supernatural monsters which make an epic and the last thing is that the super villain or baddie and is supernatural meaning that he has powers.

The thing

You look at the four layers, like a sweet,round sandwich. 

At the bottom a brown brick layer, crunchy on the outside and gooey in the inside. 

A creamy layer follows on top. The creamy filling acts as cement between the bricks. Small pieces of juicy red, sit in between. They give a crisp and juicy element to the infrastructure

As you stuff it between your teeth, the heat and cold mix in your mouth creating a perfect duo. After the heat and cold has ended you will feel sweet fruity mix. 

A smooth creamy roof, covering the second brick layer covered with more juicy, red chimneys.

You face covered with a brown,smooth cerment.

Story

       As they prepared to go down the hallway Mr White told his troops

       "This is a very dangerous task. There is no room for mistakes.”

       "We won't" Cynux responded uncertainly.

       Mr. White then said "Ok then, follow me!"

       Mr. White then escorted them down a eerie hallway. Everywhere you looked there were cobwebs or the stone was broken or had a piece missing. Finally they arrived after a 10 second walk in front of a door. It look preposterous to get through. Bolts, hand scanner, retina scanner and loads more. Suddenly there were loads of loud clicks and clangs, metal moving from place to place to let them into the room.They stared there for a minute,puzzled. They thought they were going in a time machine, not a piece of foul metal,but the the box looked petrifying.

     “ Let me introduce you to the time machine” Mr. White told them as he pointed his hand at it.

       How could a piece of metal which has stains and is cracked be a time machine. This piece of metal would trick everybody, nobody would think it is a piece of metal.

       "Are you scared" Cynux said bravely.

       "Not at all." Jeff replied

       But Cynux new Jeff was lying, he had small drops of water dripping from his face and he could clearly see Jeff was shivering not because of the cold because of fear. 

       "Why would I be scared?” Jeff quickly added on.

       "Are you sure" Krys asked

       "Yep. You do not need to worry" Jeff replied quickly

       Then Mr.White shouted vociferously "Ok, time to for you to go! But remember one tiny mistake can change the future, so be careful."

       The four of them walked slowly and cautiously to the time machine, ready to save the world.The  stepped in and slammed the door shut and turned the metal key.Now they knew there was no going back. They all looked around, they were all thinking the same thing.  

       OMG!It was packed with controls. All of this just to travel in time. If you were looking from the outside then you would just think it was a random piece of metal, but from the inside it was like the Tardis in Doctor Who. You looked in one direction you would see controls if you looked in the other there would be controls.

       Then Chris said suddenly " Put on your masks and don't take them off because if you do then you will not arrive in one piece! I am going to charge the machine."

       Crash! " What was that" Krys said suddenly.

       "I just tripped" Chris answered 

       Krys then said to Chris " The charger for the machine is this way," pointing in the opposite direction

       "Oh yeah" Chris said nonchalantly.He ran there and charged the machine"3.....2......1.....! Then they were of.

       Then there was a massive thrust that sent them forward smashing them into the wall as the machine started to go back in time. They were moving all over the place. One moment they were standing and the next time they were launched on to their heads. But all they could do was stand still because if they moved they might just change the future. They could hear cacophonous noises of the time machine doing its job.A.D1970!A.D 1870! A.D1770! A.D1670! A.D1570! A.D 500! Gone! Then out of the blue there was a  stop that launched them into the wall of the time machine. The machine started to make sound which sounded like a whistle. At that point they knew something was wrong.

       "What happened" Jeff said worryingly as he rubbed his head in agony. 

       "I don't know" Chris said as he tried to stand up.

       They slowly got to there feet in pain and tried to figure out what was happening. Chris ran in one direction, Krys ran in another and Cynux ran in a direction trying to find out what was wrong. However Jeff stayed still like he was trapped in a ice cube, petrified to move. All he was thinking about was “Am I going to die”. It took the crew a few minutes but they finally found out.

       "Over here" Chris shouted expeditiously as he tried to resolve the problem.

       "W...w.... what happened" Cynux asked curiously. 

       "I do not know" Chris replied. "When I came here I found the power cell on the floor. Shattered into a 1000 pieces."

       All of a sudden the machine stopped making sounds.

       Then Jeff said "Our power cell is demolished which means we are not going to be able to travel into the Viking world. But since the machine stopped we must be somewhere else."At this moment he was starting to regret coming here.

       Slowly they all started creeping quietly to the door ready to attack anything that would come at them. There was no surprise was they found it unlocked just as it was when they had arrived. They opened the door casually and when they saw what was out there they knew they were not in the Viking period, they were in......

       the roman period!

Contrast: In this advertisment there is a lot of contrast. Contrast is when two things are different.In the picture the top half of the mans body is global and his bottom part of hi body is local. This is contrast because the two parts are very different. Also the man and the background do not fit. He looks like he is from the city and the background is the countryside. If the man is from the city and is in the countryside it will be weird and attract the people who are looking at it. Another thing is that upon the first test of writing there is the words 'across four countries' and 'local insights' these word contrast because they are opposites. So these are the main contrasts in the advert. Allianz use contrast very well.

Repetition: In this advertisment there is not just contrast there is also repetition.  Repetition is where some repeats.With repetition and contrast this advertisment will be very good. One repetition is Allianz. They use this word more than once because they want to get you to remember there name. If you remember there name you will tell someone and if it keeps on going loads of people will know your name. Another bit of repetition is local and global. This is important because this is the message they are trying to get u to realise. The last thing is that they use investment a lot of times because  this is what they do that is why they use it a lot. This advertisment is very effective because it has repetition and contrast which makes it is good because the contrast and repetition attract the person who is reading.
